A 100 hundred year old house in Chester County,restored by RestoreOldHouse
This is one of the distressed houses in Coatesville Pa.,
being neglected for a number of years
made it a challenge to bring back to life,
all of the house was totally renovated and then was
put on the market and sold in 8 days.
SOME of the steps to bring life back into this room were plastering of walls and ceiling in a number of areas (due to water damage) , walls: washed down with heavy duty cleansers to remove mildew, wallpaper was removed, rotted wood on trim (sills etc..) was replaced , glass in windows was replaced, all surfaces were primed with an oil primer, then two coats of finish paint.
